Ben and Jonas co-founded Mind+Matter Advisory in 2026, after a 14-year partnership helping leaders advance their agendas through idea-driven, strategic communications.  

They first met in 2010—at the Rockefeller Foundation offices in Midtown—as Ben was departing the office of one President of the United States and Jonas was preparing to serve in the administration of another. 

During the years that followed, Ben and Jonas worked in close creative and strategic collaboration, advising leaders at the highest levels of business, philanthropy, culture, and beyond during moments of transition, transformation, challenge, and opportunity.

Together, Ben and Jonas established and expanded their previous firm’s presence in New York City, led its most significant client engagements, and championed its reinvention by launching a number of new businesses and ventures.  As partners, and later executive directors and board members, they helped grow the company five-fold and transition it to 100 percent employee ownership in 2023.

Earlier in their careers, Ben and Jonas each served in senior communications and strategy roles at global foundations, in governors’ offices, and on political campaigns across the United States.
